Man Bumbo, I’d be willing to pay an extra five bucks for a QUALITY tray. The one you’re selling now is JUNK!

The tray would be PERFECT if it stayed put and was easy to attach. My 4.5 month old can easily take the top of the tray off. I read somewhere that the top of the tray snaps into place if you work with it, but I haven’t found this to be true.

Great idea, just needs to be improved.

Gotta say, my daughter loves her bumbo. We purchased this tray so we could use it as a booster/play area. First off, the tray we got was not like the one pictured. It’s clear, and has a slot that goes over the middle stump and 2 slots for the side stumps. It’s a little difficult to put on, especially when your child is in the seat moving around. It’s not sturdy enough to eat off of because when she puts pressure on one side or the other, the opposite side lifts up.

It’s fine to play on, she likes her blocks and sucker rings. If you do a google search for “bumbo clear tray” and look at images, it should be the first one that pops up.

My son was able to pull the table top off at 4 months…it defeated the purpose. Might not work if you have very curious and active infants.

I want to first say that my daughter and myself LOVE the Bumbo. Everyone should have one for their child!

We had also purchased the Bumbo Play Tray and it is USELESS! My seven month old was able to pull it off and it would not secure in place. What’s the point of a tray if your child can take it off? At first I was thinking, “well, maybe I didn’t properly install it” but after my husband looked it over, we still had the same problems. I’m very disappointed with the Bumbo Play Tray.

  5. We bought a Bumbo seat with our 3rd child and loved it. The trays were just starting to come out when he was outgrowing it. I had always said that I wish I had owned the tray. We had our daughter this year and I bought a tray. It is great since I feed her in the Bumbo seat. The only down side is that it is kinda tough to put the tray on and lock it into place. I have thought I had it on and discovered that I didn’t a couple of times. It is also handy to have for putting toys on so she can play. Since we have our almost 2 year old in the high chair, this is a great alternative for meal times. If you own a Bumbo seat, I would go ahead and get the tray. It is very reasonably priced as well.
